Istanbul is a great city the perfect mix between Ancient and contemporary. Inspires the work of many artists, poets, songwriters, photographers… Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, and Agatha Christie all found their muse in Istanbul. Istanbul is a perfect mix, a blend of three empires, eight bordering countries, four neighbouring seas, and myriad ethnicities. The Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire have left a lot of history behind them in Istanbul. What I also love in Istanbul? Food…

The city is one of the world’s true crossroads, finding itself in both Europe and Asia and has seen influences throughout its development from all over. As you’d expect, this all combines to make Istanbul one of the world’s truly great, diverse food cities that I really love in the world.
